I was talking with Carmen this afternoon on the phone.... had just taken a picture of Joanthan out on the front porch in front of my small Ficus tree....DayStar sang today at area rest homes.... Glanced out there and looked closer and did a double take.
The huge black snake that has been around our property Charles says for YEARS was climbing into that little ficus. I jumped up, grabbed the camera while Charles unscrewed the broom handle, and the three of us headed to the front door... of course I was snapping pictures like crazy.
That snake
got so mad at us! You could hear him hissing and you could hear him biting the end of the broom handle... tail rattling like a rattlesnake to scare us away. Didn't happen.
CT finally got him on the broom handle, took him to the front lower driveway and the snake very nearly ran up the Christmas tree and that is where I last saw him. Whew! Pictures posted on Facebook.
