I have been absent from here..... truthfully, because I have been worn out and Facebook is easier. But I heard from mom and she gave me a swift kick and told me to get this blog up to date. Well... OK.
I worked more of my hiney OFF last week (lost 3 pounds)in all of the cleaning, etc.... at the house. Was NOT ready for a grandchild to appear (the house was ready) on Thursday afternoon and I'm ALWAYS ready for grandkids - but I was worn out.
On FRiday we got up - Charles worked on the water lines which needed attention from the huge storm.... and we left with Luke for Winston-Salem to spend the weekend with Mom..."Ma" to Luke.
Very smooth trip - we did NOT know what to expect with this 3 year old. The girls were always high maintenance the first time we traveled. If the trip took 3 hours, we made it in 6. Girls.
Lukie was different. He entertained himself most of the way down and finally - 30 minutes away from Ma's house he went to sleep. Slept an hour or so after we arrived.
