I am so behind on blogging - just have not been in the mood to blog the past several days.
We have been very busy at the house. I cleaned what seemed like a bucket of pollen off of the cushions and furniture on the screened porch this afternoon - but it's good and ready to go for the summer. Love it out there.
We worked around the hot tub - put the new top on - SO much easier than the old one which is so heavy laden with water - they get that way over time and the old top went through 7 seasons...Just waiting to pounce on some tropicals when Lowe's gets some in.... 3 huge pots to plant on the deck.
Worked in the out buildings organizing things - moved the old refrigerator (works great) into the small building nearest the house to use as over-flow food and bottled water... laid some new indoor/outdoor carpet in there that we've had stored. I want this storage room to be like an extra room on the house... we'll see how THAT works.
Worked in the big storage building - pulled some car mats down to throw away and out dropped a black snake right at my feet.... I danced a little jig and the cat went into action - of course she was in there with us over-seeing what we were doing like always. The snake was very small - about 15 inches long.... and Miss Friendly had a fit. It got away and I hope it went outside. Good think I'm not afraid of a little black snake....
So tired tonight.... just pooped.... headed for bed.
